ryanlovesfeedback Quiet Hollers have done it again! I really dig the 50's-ish feel of 'happy with you' and 'why henry' and Shadwick's vocals have never been better. Favorite track: Get on Your Level.

Mubla Na Thguob Just finished listening to the entire album and I love it. It's a little darker sounding at times both musically and lyrically than the previous albums, but never without hope. One thing that stands out for me is that Shadwick Wilde's voice seems stronger and more pure (if that's a valid musical term) than I've heard it before and the music has more space that let's the voice shine. Definitely, hoping for another special edition vinyl. Favorite track: Why Does Everything Hurt.

When we die, we return to our Mother we unbelievers who believe so deeply in love with everything the wild violence that stirs the seasons of Earth and the lapping cosmic waves When we die, we return to our Mother we unbelievers who believe in everything so deep in love with the wild violence that stirs the seas and the birds And the lapping cosmic waves that are our graves, our graves When we die, we return to our Mother we unbelievers who believe in Love so deep with everything with the wild violets and dandelions that dance across my mind and on the lapping cosmic waves that are our graves, our graves

about

Forever Chemicals is the joyfully nihilistic fourth LP from genre-bending indie group Quiet Hollers. Borrowing elements from across the spectrum of rock music, it deals unflinchingly and compassionately with mortality, mental illness, and the grand mystery of existence.

Building upon the band's anything-goes ethos, Forever Chemicals indulges elements of doo wop, post punk, and arena rock to deliver their cheekiest and most vulnerable songs to date. Wilde handled the majority of instruments along with producer / drummer Dave Chale. Shelley Anderson (QH bassist and world-class mastering engineer) mastered the album.

Scott Carney of experimental/theatrical rock band Wax Fang contributed Theremin tracks to a song, “Addicted (Relapse)” and also directed its music video, a nightmare trip through an occult variety show.
